China Challenge for Macmillan

Dear Friends This year I will be undergoing a lifetime challenge in my summer break from university. This will be taking place from the 15th – 25th September and for those 10 days I shall be giving up creature comforts and walking approximately 80km in China on the Great Wall of China, through remote and rugged areas and also camping en-route to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. 5p Plastic Bag Tax?

The Guardian reported today that in an effort to reduce the 160m plastic bags used in Northern Ireland each year, a 5p plastic bag tax will be imposed throughout NI from 2013, rising to 10p by April 2014.

Should the rest of the UK follow suit?
