An unfortunate choice of words
Despite being active and fit I struggle to keep weight off. I think this is partly to do with my body type, I am an endomorph, partly to do with age, I am in the second half of my fifties, but mainly because I like food. When I am carrying a little more weight than usual and the love handles are obvious I get a little self-conscious about it.
