For anyone from court general pearson who is looking in,please accept my apologies that our first meeting of the year had to be cancelled due to the snow. Hopefully the weather will have improved by our feb meeting. Still trying to snow again today but it seems to be less heavy and the main roads are clear now....

5p Plastic Bag Tax?

The Guardian reported today that in an effort to reduce the 160m plastic bags used in Northern Ireland each year, a 5p plastic bag tax will be imposed throughout NI from 2013, rising to 10p by April 2014.

Should the rest of the UK follow suit?
