Devon and Conrwall Area

The Devon and Cornwall Area comprises of 7 Courts, which meet regularly in Devon and Cornwall. The Area Co-ordinator is Janet M. Clements, who can be contacted on 01708 227425, or jclements@forestersfriendlysociety.co.uk Court 5077 have arranged for Foresters Brass to play at Trago Mills on Sunday 19th June, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the HCR and his Lady will be in attendance as will members of the local Guide Dogs.

5p Plastic Bag Tax?

The Guardian reported today that in an effort to reduce the 160m plastic bags used in Northern Ireland each year, a 5p plastic bag tax will be imposed throughout NI from 2013, rising to 10p by April 2014.

Should the rest of the UK follow suit?
