Update

February 21, 2012 by ChrisBurrow

Have not been following Foresters Friends that much theses days. Seem to have plenty to do and have been involved within the Social Enterprise sector over the past few years. I have more family responsibilities as well these days and blogging has not been high on the agenda .

I have stood down from a couple of roles, but continue to support the work of Colchester Trades Council as treasurer.  As to Court meetings I still try and attend those, but stood down as Chief Ranger, I had been in post for too long.......

Uncertain as to whether I will attend High Court. this year, but note the debate that has been going on in the High Court group....

5p Plastic Bag Tax?

The Guardian reported today that in an effort to reduce the 160m plastic bags used in Northern Ireland each year, a 5p plastic bag tax will be imposed throughout NI from 2013, rising to 10p by April 2014.

Should the rest of the UK follow suit?
